Clear the air with TEL CAV and VAV airflow terminals

Ensuring air is free from pollutants and other hazardous materials is important in any working space as it helps keep employees healthy and can prolong the life of valuable physical assets. But in many environments, including laboratories and some commercial applications where extreme temperatures or aggressive pollutants feature, the ability to control airflow is safety critical.

A world leader in airflow control, we’ve spent more than 50 years designing specialist electronic airflow control products to meet our customers’ safety and other operational requirements.

Benefits of precision airflow control

  • Improve safety
  • Reduce energy costs
  • Improve operational efficiency
  • Boost productivity

Airflow terminals

This invaluable piece of kit is the engine room of airflow control and we’ve developed and refined every detail of ours to ensure you won’t notice just how hard they’re working – all day, every day.

TEL VAV Terminal Units

Available in two types, rectangular (RVP-P) and circular (RVP-C), our variable air volume (VAV) terminals are quick and easy to instal and offer a high degree of accuracy in the volume flow control of extract and supply air systems of all [is that right Richard] sizes and volumes.

Key features

  • Factory parameterisation to meet precise requirements
  • Maintenance free
  • High precision control
  • Range of control options:
    • MP-Bus (standard), LONWORKS, Modbus,
    • KNX (Siemens), MF (no BUS)
    • Standard compact control
    • Universal fast acting control
  • Suited for use with the TEL AFA5000 Room Space Controller

Available as standard in galvanised steel, our terminals are manufactured to last, and the circular version is also available in stainless steel.

CAV Terminal Units

Our CAV terminals type RKP-P (rectangular) and RKP-C (circular) are designed to maintain constant air volume for extract and supply air systems. Self-regulating, they ensure a default nominal volume flow, independently of the varying pressure in the duct or channel.

Made from galvanised steel, they’re adjustable in the field, with the circular CAV volume flow controller ensuring a constant supply of air to a room of up to 1,650m3/hr and the rectangular controller up to 10,000m3/hr.
