TEL are delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the prestigious 2014 Environmental Association of Universities and Colleges (EAUC) Green Gown Awards.

The nomination has come as a result of our work for the university of Reading’s fume cupboard energy efficiency upgrade project. Our upgrade of the ventilation and control systems in their chemistry laboratory fume cupboards is predicted to save them 343 tons of Co2 per annum, reducing their carbon emissions by as much as 35%. The upgrade is also predicted to reduce the University’s energy bills by £90,000, which will pay for the £250,000 project in less than three years.
